Configuration - basic configuration

The screenshot below shows the interface for the basic configuration of the seti applet.

Location of seti client

This is the location of the directory in which the seti@home executable, the user information and the current unit state are located.

If you are running a multiple CPU machine and execute multiple instances of seti@home concurrently, see the 'Use seti executable in different directory' advanced option.

Display number of units processes

This option determines whether the applet should display the number of units processed for the user running the seti@home process.

Display total cpu time

Whether to display the total amount of CPU time spent analysing seti data. Displayed in days (<1 year) or years (1 year < cpu time < 10000 years) or >10000 years for the really enthusiastic.

Display best spike

Whether to display the largest spike found in the current unit being processed.

Display best gaussian

Whether to display the best gaussian found in the current unit being processed. Not sure if the correct value from the state.sah file is currently being displayed or not.

Display percentage

Whether to display the progress of the current unit being processed.
